This job consists of an existing over-bridge structure with 760dia column supporting legs approx.28l/mtrs in length. The existing top coat had failed to resist the UV and the “Red” colour had all but disappeared with large sections of epoxy under coat exposed.

We were engaged by NZTA to prepare the substrate and in conjunction with Dulux coatings to provide and apply a long term protective coating system to these exposed columns.

This project is extremely challenging and high profile, with extreme environmental conditions, including live traffic and access difficulties.

Working losely with the NZTA and detailed planning of each work front allows the works to continue with minimal disruption.
