Cake were engaged to carry out penetrations work as part of our Passive Fire Protection package for a commercial building in Auckland.

The works involved the Fire Stopping of electrical cables and pipework which were traveling through concrete ceilings. Our team worked to Fire Rate the penetrations with Firetherm Batt, Intumastic, and Fire Collar. Installing these devices will help to contain the spread of fire and smoke for up to 60 minutes, giving occupants additional time to evacuate the building.
